On a nice clear day, Sesshomaru was walking through the forest. He was alone because Rin wanted to pick some flowers. Therefore he made Jaken go with her to make sure that she didn't get into any trouble. He was still on his search for Naraku and power. Soon enough he would kill off Naraku and his bothersome brother Inuyasha. He kept walking through the forest, some of the branches brushing across his shoulder as he walked. He stopped all of a sudden and stared blankly into the sky as he was thinking.
"Naraku, where are you hiding you coward." Sesshomaru said
Sesshomaru stayed standing where he was. He couldn't really catch Naraku's scent and if he did, it was a very faint scent. Sesshomaru stood there in deep thought.

Amazing.
Though she had a hidden admiration for the dog demon, it awed her to see that her luck had allowed her to run into him. Such and unexpected encounter, and one that she was somewhat wary of. Powerful or not, she knew that the dog demon was stronger than her, capable of overpowering her in at least two movements.
Amaya kept hidden behind a few trees, less than half of her face peeking out from a tree while the rest of her remained hidden within the shadows. Emotionless, her expression was. She saw that her scent was halfway downwind, allowing it to be mostly hidden, but she knew better than to trust the world.
Closing her hazels, she retreated back to behind the tree, turning to slightly lean onto the tree, glancing at the sky. After a couple of moments of raw silence, she allowed the faintest hint of a sigh to escape her lips. Taking a nearly inaudible breath, she turned, emerging from the trees and shadows, into the clearing where Sesshoumaru was located at the moment.
She didn't take a liking to being the one to speak first, so she only stood in the spot ten feet behind the dog demon, distant and calm as her orbs rested upon the figure.
[[ Eh, didn't know what to write. ]]

It was a cold night, and a strange feeling of anger and some kind of loneliness could be sensed. Sayuri could smell a very familiar scent in the air, but she could not really recognize its owner. Nevertheless there was someone else; they were about two demons more or less. The question was: should she go and investigate or just turn around and go the other way?
‘‘But Naraku escaped in that direction…’’ – She thought.
Too bad for those who were having a nice conversation because they were in the middle of Sayuri’s way. Of course the girl had no intention in starting a fight but she was not going to change her way just because there was someone else in the forest. The albino dog demon walked slowly and silently until she reached the place where the other demons were. She looked at a female one first and then turned to see him… or at least someone who looked quite like the demon she had met in the forest of her father’s land when she was just a little girl.
‘‘I guess there’s no time for me to stay here much longer…’’ – She thought, although she didn’t want to go away.

As Sesshomaru stood there in thought he could smell a faint scent in the wind. He could also sense that someone was learking in the shadows. As he was about to call her out, she came out on her own. This demon was bold, but foolish to come out of hidding. If she was looking for a fight she was trying to fight the wrong person. As she was standing there, there was bit of silence as to stared her down.
"If it's a fight your looking for. You've made a foolish choice." Sesshomaru said
After a second of staring her down, he could sense another presents off in the distance approaching. She came into sight and he could smell that she was a dog demon. He didn't know who this other person was. He turned his head to look at the dog demon approaching. He had an emotionless face that showed no fear.
"Two demons at once, hardly a match." Sesshomaru thought
As he looked at the dog demon, it had felt like he saw her somewhere before but couldn't quite place where.

With an emotionless expression, Sayuri came out of the shadows, not really looking at the other two demons. She continued walking; not wanting to be stopped by words or challenges, but there was also no point in trying to ignore them. Finally the female dog demon decided to stop walking and examined her ‘‘enemies’’ faces.
‘‘If I walk away, the girl could get mad, although that guy wouldn’t care…’’ – She thought.
Should she talk? No, there was no need for it. Their looks talked for them. He… He was so extremely familiar… Nevertheless there was no time for her to stay there much longer, since Naraku could be hiding himself even more with every minute. Her eyes went slowly to the right, trying to detect something which could be related to Naraku.
‘‘Maybe those are his subordinates?’’ – The girl thought looking back at the dog demon.

"A fight is never within my desires," was the emotionless reply, blank of any feeling at all; there was no coldness, no harshness, just blank. Amaya glanced at those amber hues of Sesshoumaru, not in but at, and she made certain that her hazels were clouded, not allowing anyone to look past the exterior.
She glanced through the corner, at the new arrival. By the scent, it was a dog demon, and the arrival seemed to be albino. Seems like I'm cursed to always run into more than one person, she thought, concealing her interior cold flame. She wasn't a fan of company, but she knew she'd need to make some allies. Though, these dog demons appeared hostile to a twin-tailed wolf demon such as her.
But, she cared not. Showing hostility was pathetic in this matter, especially in front of the dog demon; was he a lord? After all, she had heard so much about him supposed to take the throne of the great Inu no Taishou. She didn't contain the desire to ask, though. It was just, at the wrong moment.

"Lord Sesshoumaru!" Dashing cheerily down the trail, came a young, innocent girl. A smile played upon her lips as her right hand was raised and waving. Bliss and playfulness was in her tone as she rushed over from behind her lord.
Rin was holding a handmade bouquet, a minuscule one but still a bouquet, as she ran over. As soon as she reached him, she was only aware of his presence, and his alone. But then, when she lifted the flowers up to him, she spotted the female demons a distance away from them.
Her smile somewhat faded. "Lord Sesshoumaru, who are they?"

A girl in an orange and white kimono came suddenly out with a big smile on her face. She was calling for the dog demon, Sesshomaru. Sayuri had heard that name before, she tried to remember where but nothing came to her mind. Maybe that was the reason why this guy was so extremely familiar to her.
‘‘Rin! Don’t disturb Lord Sesshomaru!’’ – A little and green creature ordered.
Rin gave Jaken, the green demon, a sad look.
‘‘Human?’’
That question went across Sayuri’s head when she thought about this fact twice. What was a demon doing with a human? It’s not that Sayuri despised humans, she actually quite of liked them because of their simplicity and their peculiar way of doing things.
‘‘Lord Sesshoumaru, who are they?’’
The girl’s attitude made Sayuri smile. She was too innocent and cute to not make her smile. Nevertheless, Rin made exactly the right question, who were they? The wolf demon was unknown, the female dog demon had never seen her before, probably because dogs and demons never really liked each other and always tried to keep the distance… but what about Sayuri? Who was she…? Was that really important? Should she answer and be polite or wait for ‘Lord Sesshomaru’ to answer?
Suddenly a memory went across her mind. She had seen Rin before! In a village near the wolf’s territory, when Sayuri was trying to negotiate with their leader ‘Kouga’ for the jewel shards he had in his arms and legs.
‘‘I thought you were dead…’’ – She muttered, making it for a human impossible to understand.
The day Sayuri abandoned Kouga’s territory; the wolf’s attacked a little village. It was kind of ‘painful’ (?) to see from the distance how those animals killed innocent people only because they liked human flesh more than animal flesh. The girl would have loved rescued them, but there was no time and if she had killed those demons, a war between dog demons and wolf demons would have arisen.

Sesshomaru stood there with a blank look on his face. He had not moved an inch from these two. That's when he saw Jaken and Rin show up. As she tried to had him the flowers, Sesshomaru didn't even take the time to look down to her. He did not know whether these demons were hostile or not. He would protect Rin with his life, but he would have rathered they wouldn't have shown up at all. Without turning down to her, Sesshomaru got her attention with just words.
"Rin. This isn't the place for you." Sesshomaru said
He stayed focused on the other demons so they wouldn't try something funny. He looked at the wolf demon and then over to the dog demon. He couldn't be completely sure that these two weren't working together.
"If its a fight your looking for, your foolish to pick such an opponent." Sesshomaru said

The faintest hint of a sigh broke past her lips again. "As I have said before, a fight is not any of my desire." The dog demon seemed protective of the little girl, exactly as she had heard. Amaya was uncertain upon whether or not she should leave, but she decided to remain planted there. Perhaps something would be of use.
The faint scent of Naraku didn't seem to matter to her, but she felt that it would matter to Sesshoumaru, the dog demon she had heard so many tales about. She wondered if it was possible to trail after him, be a follower or assistant. She would like to know this Naraku, and see if he could be destroyed. All the low-laid rumors she had heard about him only made her feel that he didn't deserve to exist.

She tilted her head somewhat, staring up at her lord as he spoke to her. "They're dangerous?" Rin kept herself from stuttering, and she slipped to behind Lord Sesshoumaru's pant leg. She gave a concerned glance over to the two female demons, before glancing back to Jaken, when she heard the second female speak.
"... I -- I'm supposed to be d--dead..?" she stuttered, gripping Sesshoumaru's pant leg more tightly. She shrank down somewhat, quite concerned of her well-being. Only a moment later, she took a couple of steps back.

Demons like him were always provoking. Damn it, Sayuri hated senseless fights, she had no time for it now. She looked closely at Sesshomaru, who answered to the girl’s question with an emotionless tone. He was acting coldly, but Sayuri doubted if that was what he really felt. She did not answer to the dog demon’s affirmation, she was not interested in fighting, her composure made it clear.
Sayuri’s eyes flinched for a brief moment when she heard the human’s question. So she had heard her. If she revealed the fact they had met before, things could get complicated and misunderstandings could appear. The best solution was to lie. Rin didn’t remember her anyways since she ‘died’ after they had met. It was impossible for her to remember, wasn’t it?
‘‘I just… confused you with someone else.’’ – She lied perfectly.
It was the first time Sayuri had talked. Her voice sounded soft and calm, no bad feelings were shown in her tone. She was relaxed and unworried, there was no need for a fight.

As one of the demons came out and spoke that she didn't want to fight he could tell by the expression on the dog demons face that she didn't want to fight. At least he wouldn't have to waste his energy on a senseless fight. Rin sounded worried as she said she was suppose to be dead. Sesshomaru looked at the dog demon as she spoke. He wasn't sure what to think of the dog demons comment. When Sesshomaru found Rin she was alone and he saved her. He was still in his search for Naraku and if these to weren't going to pose a threat then they didn't have any business there. It did seem that the wolf demon was appealed by Sesshomaru.
"Come along Rin." Sesshomaru said
He started walking and looked at both of the demons before he started leaving. He awaited to see if they would say anything more and was waiting for Rin and Jaken to catch up.

Seeing that she wasn't really acknowledged here, Amaya turned her back to them. Though it was uncomfortable since she didn't trust them, she felt that they wouldn't attack her when she wasn't facing them. Without a farewell, she walked off, ignoring the curiosity of why Sesshoumaru, the great descendant of Inu no Taishou, would care so much for a little human girl. Sure, she was innocent and all, but.. Ah, well. She didn't dwell upon it for long, for she soon exited the location. The last thing that she allowed herself to dwell upon, was whether or not to become a follower or ally of the male dog demon.

Staring at the demon that took her leave, Rin took a step from Sesshoumaru's pant leg. She watched the leaving female with a hint of curiosity, her apex somewhat tilted to the side, before she glanced to the other, remaining demon. "Oh, alright," she said more friendlily to the demon, before glancing up at Sesshoumaru as he coaxed her away.
"Hai, Lord Sesshoumaru!" she said gleefully, skipping along after him. As he glanced back, she paused, watching him, that innocently sweet look still on her face as always.

Luckily nothing bad happened. Sesshomaru was leaving and so did the wolf demon. Sayuri was not in a fighting mood so the final decision the others made was perfect for her. She looked closely at Rin’s actions. The human girl really appreciated the male dog demon. Sayuri never used to care for what other people could think, but she wondered what Sesshomaru could have to make Rin admire him so much. Nevertheless it was relieving to see demons cooperate with humans; it was something Sayuri liked, although the majority thought the opposite way she did.
‘Soon things will change in this world.’ – Sayuri said to herself before moving into the forest, leaving a sweet smell floating in the air.
