It was a deserted village, destroyed in the past by the hanyou she had heard so much about; Naraku. He seemed low-lying, cowardly evil, and she despised that kind of souls. They were so selfish, so evil, so insane. It irritated her to no end that the bastard was worse than her wretched uncle. They were both horrid, and she desired to destroy all people who were like that, their minds tainted with darkness.
As she stepped over some debris, even stepping on same and feeling them crumble, Amaya allowed her hazels to scan the demolished village. It was a remorseful sight, with only three huts standing, barely, as the remains of the neighboring homes lay scattered around them. The scent from long before barely remained, but the fresh scent covered it. The monster Naraku had come through here earlier, or at least his minions did.
A faint sigh escaped her lips, and she took a few more steps past the center of the village. A ruckus began behind her, and she whipped her right hand to the side as a low bellow of a demon reached her ears, a bright red string-like whip slashing to behind her. In that second, a gurgle sounded, and then a thud. Glancing through the corner of her orbs, she spotted the demon, foolish enough to attempt to attack her, lying upon the ground. It was gagging, but then froze as it began to disintegrate.
With a disgusted huff, she took a few more steps forward, pausing to glance up at the darkening sky. It seemed that, from quite a distance behind her, a storm was brewing. It wasn't a good sign, but she allowed none of it the crack her emotionless surface. With a faint sigh, she began forward again.

As Sesshomaru was walking through the forest, there was the sight of a storm brewing off in the distance. It had been a long time since he had a decent lead let along encounter Naraku. Sesshomaru wanted to destory that vermen for good but there wasn't much to go off of. He had to go off a faint scent that was disappearing fast. Nonetheless, there was a village that he was coming up on. There was another scent in the air and it smelt like wolf. He was walking in the direction of the wolf demon. The direction that he was heading was going to bring him right through the village. As he neared the village, the scent of the wolf demon was getting stronger. When he got closer to the village, he could see that the village was completely destroyed and he knew that it was the doings of Naraku. So at least he was on the right track to finding Naraku, but there was the wolf demon that he was going to have to get past. He entered the big gate of the village and walked in. There was still a few hut still standing, but most of it was completely destroyed. As he walked farther through the village he finally came across the dog demon. Sesshomaru didn't say a word. He was going to let the wolf demon make the first action. He stood there and examined the demon. It wasn't just another weak demon, this demon was actually strong compared to what he has faught before. He stood there with a straight face as he awaited the demon to say or do something.

A familiar scent reached her scent glands, and she glanced to the direction of the source. There was a figure approaching, and the scent seemed to be growing nearer, stronger. Then, her hazels spotted the entire figure, not the shadow. It was that dog demon she had heard about, and met once before -- Sesshoumaru.
It wasn't a comforting thing, considering the fact that he suspected her of looking for a fight the first time. It also had irritated her, but she knew better than to pick a fight with him. Besides, fighting pointlessly was quite a ridiculous action.
As he arrived, Amaya couldn't help but take a step to the side. "... So, it's you again..," she murmured, her tone blank of any emotion. Alright, so, she wasn't good at greeting anyone, let alone allow a conversation to flow well. But it was worth a try; she didn't have the desire to appear hostile to the dog demon.

"Lord Sesshoumaru, wait for us!" Rin dashed after Jaken, attempting to keep up with the powerful, awe-inspiring dog demon. She soon found him, confronting the same wolf demon from before. It frightened her to see that a weaker demon had began to disintegrate behind the demon.
With a breath, she reached around two feet behind Sesshoumaru. "Have you found Naraku's scent?" She flinched as a rumble of thunder roared, and then a frown tugged at her lips. Did this mean that the scent, if her lord found it, was going to be washed away before he had a chance to follow it?

((Mind if I join? ^^))
------------------------------------
Naraku’s scent was getting clearer and clearer but for some reason Sayuri started to doubt if it was a subordinates blood what she smelled or something similar. She had been travelling through the land for weeks, without eating, without drinking. Her desire for finding Naraku was starting to take control over her. It felt almost like an obsession. Every day Sayuri’s fear grew bigger and bigger. The fear of not knowing about her past consumed her little by little. It sounded crazy, but that was how reality played.
The dog demon had arrived to an old village. It was destroyed and there were no indications of any survivors. Naraku’s scent was impregnated in the environment; nevertheless Sayuri sensed more smells in the air. They were familiar, very familiar. She walked slowly to where the scents came from, her look fixed and her eyes almost not blinking. Finally, she saw them, again...
She wasn’t in a very good mood and any provocation would make her loose the nerves. Sayuri had no intention in fighting, just like always, but she was too stressed to stand some stupid and arrogant attitudes. But of course she should not provoke them as well, since she could imagine Sesshomaru was in the same situation she was.
‘It would be a shame if I tried to pass without even saying hello, wouldn’t it?’ – Sayuri asked as she walked towards them.
The female dog demon would just stop and greet them, since she wasn’t the impolite type of demon; nevertheless it was quite risky to let those demons look into her eyes and see her actual ‘weak’ status. She then noticed Sesshomaru's presence together with Rin's and Jaken's. It was quite logical to meet them there, they were following the same scent after all. Since the male demon was not supposed to be an 'enemy', Sayuri relaxed a bit more, something which could be seen in her expression.
