Plot
In the dark, back alleys of a seedy little hamlet against the fortified walls of a grand and magnificent city called Haven City filled with rich and well-off members of society, there is a shop. But there is something special about this shop. It is not a shop of curios and knick knacks...
...It is a pet store. But it does not sell cute, furry dogs and cats and hamsters and such...
...This store sells special pets. Mythical creatures--Unicorns, dragon eggs, griffin hatchlings, chimaeras...You name it. Some are sentient, some are not. All are unique.
But, that's not all this little shop has to offer. If you ask the right questions, and flash around a couple of those greenbacks, you might find yourself led to the back rooms...
Back here is where the real dirty selling goes on. Because in these cages are not animals, but people.
Or are they?
They look human, but looks can be deceiving. One minute you'll be staring at a beautiful, dark young woman, then something will distract you, and you look back to find a panther stalking you from behind the bars. Turn back to find that what distracted you was a boy who could not have been more than 12 lighting candles with a flame from his fingertip! All around, cages are filled with creatures such as this, human-like, sentient, but...different. Strange...

Dare you enter this Seedy Little Shop? For that is its name, painted in old, fading letters on a rotting wooden board out front.
If you do, prepare to have everything you've ever known or thought...Everything you've ever believed about the world...
Shattered.
Thriving for over a decade now, the Seedy Little Shop looks no different on the outside, but it usually filled with high-end and rich, powerful, or influential clientèle. And with good reason. This shop is expensive. Minimum price for anything is usually $750, most "items" fun for well over $3,000. But those who come usually have no problem paying, since rumors only spread among tight-knit circles of the most elite of the grand city on the other side of the wall.
People come to buy either "pets" of the "animals" in the forefront of the shop, or the come for something more. The gifteds in the back serve every purpose from slave to babysitter, an addition to the family, or a guardian; a watchdog, of sorts.
